The nearby 56,000 acre Truman Lake has great crappie, catfish, walleye, hybrid bass, and white bass fishing, and we are conveniently located just 1.4 miles from Truman Lake\u2019s Fairfield boat launch.<\/p>\n
Most guests at our campground rent campsites by the year and place their camping trailer or motorhome on a site as a vacation place for whenever they would like to get away from home for a while for fishing or time with family and friends.<\/p>\n
Our RV sites have concrete pads, a picnic table, a campfire ring, water and sewer hookups, and 30- or 50- amp electricity.\u00a0 Some are sunny and grassy, some are shady with limestone gravel, and some are a little of both.\u00a0 Most of our campsites can comfortably accommodate a moderately-large RV or travel trailer, but some sites are larger.\u00a0 Most of our campsites have adequate space to park one or two vehicles and a boat.<\/p>\n We also offer boat self-storage units in case you would like to store your boat here at our campground, securely and out of the weather.\u00a0 To rent a boat slip on the water, a marina (Osage Bluff, not affiliated with us) is located just 5 miles north of here and may have availability.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our store, open 6 days a week, offers a variety of supplies, like bait, tackle, ice, propane, ethanol-free gasoline, drinks, and food.<\/p>\n Of course, we have a bathroom and shower building, as well as coin-operated laundry machines.<\/p>\n We also have two fishing cleaning stations with large sinks and running water where you can clean your catch.<\/p>\n One thing we don\u2019t offer is a permanent residence for folks who are living in their trailers with no home elsewhere.\u00a0 This is because we aren\u2019t a trailer court, but a vacation resort.\u00a0 To have a spot with us, you need to have a home elsewhere so you can come vacation here!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n![\"Truman](\"http:\/\/www.trumanlakeresort.com\/camping\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Home-2.jpg\")
